If our loyalty to a market oriented way of life is unquestioned and so supports a holding pattern for life, understanding why the want of change does not necessarily entail what we think it does. Change given as a supplement, can add only value to the buyer journey you are always on. It is for this reason our way towards life needs to be questioned.
Why do we not question money, why is it a given?
What underwrites consumerism?
Why is independence considered an ideal?
Is there an existential claim over life?
limitation of agency
human relation reduced to the good of want
your time the preeminent good
money valued more than the earth
people primarily considered a means
Do we have to be continually receptive to this, or can we evolve beyond it?
What if there was an opportunity to enterprise civilization, what if we could do better?
What if we could take our turn, to turn the world around to embrace a new fate, would you?
If you agree things can’t go on the way they have, that we need to do things differently. Then we need to create new ways of doing things which means a new way of giving and receiving. Where what we say we value is given beyond the preeminent good of our time.
This is the question of legacy, what do we want to bequeath to future generations?
